Różowo i mediowo

Pozostając w różowościach, ale zmieniając styl. Tym razem postanowiłam nieco pomęczyć papiery z najnowszej kolekcji "Mother Love", poszarpać, potarmosić, potuszować...
Z tego wszystkiego wyszła mi taka kartka.
Zdecydowanie lepiej się czuję w stylu skomplikowanym i pobrudzonym ;)

Miłego dnia!

Wedding Checklists: Five Small Wedding Details With Big Implications

You're planning a wedding and there are so many big things to take care of... from choosing a wedding dress to planning your honeymoon, the wedding list seems to go on forever. It's easy to focus on this big things; however, there are a few small details that are easy to overlook and really must be taken care of:

Measurements for the groomsmen. If your groom has more than a couple of groomsmen, it is easy lose track of all of their measurements. You may want to ask your groom to confirm that all of his groomsmen have turned in their measurements. The person doing the alterations needs the final measurements in order to get the perfect fit for each groomsmen. One quick check-in can help you both feel confident that everyone will be ready when your big day comes.

A marriage license. If you want to get married in the United States, you will probably need a marriage license to do it. It is relatively simple to get. You just need to make time to do it. It's important to look into the requirements early. With the excitement of your upcoming wedding, it can be easy to overlook the required paperwork. Make sure this is one thing you take care of a few days before the wedding!

Check with the County Clerk in the county in which you will be married to learn more about getting a license in that area. They should also be able to tell you about any additional requirements or limitations of the license.

Many states require both birth certificates be presented in order to issue a marriage license, so make sure you have them handy in case you need to show them to the Clerk.
Wedding night and honeymoon travel confirmation. As your wedding day approaches, now is a great time to double check that your wedding night plans and honeymoon travel have been booked and confirmed. In many cases, your fiancé is taking care of these details. Even so, a connected bride knows that a little confirmation number means peace of mind!

Preparations for wedding keepsakes. Your wedding dress and bridal bouquet are two of your most memorable wedding keepsakes. They both have one other thing in common: they can be easily damaged if not cared for properly. That's why you may want to make arrangements in advance to have them taken care of. Long before your wedding day arrives you should know exactly who will be preserving two of your most precious keepsakes.

Wedding announcements. Your wedding day will be full of friends and family, but there are some people who just couldn't come. That's why your wedding announcements are so special. Ask your Maid of Honor to mail them out after the wedding, so you can enjoy your wedding night and honeymoon!

Wedding Ceremony Prep - What You Need To Know

No matter who marries you, take time to talk about and write down any customs, music or traditions that are important to both of you. Then start outlining the actual ceremony together:

If you are having a religious ceremony, the person marrying you should be able to help you craft the order of the wedding ceremony. Lean on that person to guide you.
If you are having a ceremony that is not overtly religious, you have different options. Look at what is important to you and your groom, and pull in elements that are personal.
Some of the traditional elements include:

Prelude (or music) that plays prior to the ceremony beginning.
Seating of the guests.
Seating of the parents. The mother of the bride should be seated last.
Wedding Processional that begins with the Groom and Officiant and includes all of the wedding party (except the bride.)
Grand entrance - this is where special wedding music is played and the bride enters (traditionally with her Father.)
Opening remarks from the officiant and a reading or prayer are common.
Giving away of the bride.
Charge to the bride and groom which includes a few words about the privilege and bond of marriage.
Exchanging of wedding vows.
Exchanging of wedding rings.
Declaration of marriage by the officiant and that first kiss!
Presenting of the newlyweds and their recessional walk back down the aisle together
There are only a few legal requirements for a wedding, so have fun creating a wedding that is special to you both! Then work with your officiant to create the perfect event flow.

After you are comfortable with the way the wedding ceremony has come together, go ahead and create your wedding program. A wedding program can be as elaborate or as simple as you want. It's a wonderful way to let guests know more about your ceremony, and it should have the same feel as the rest of your wedding.

What goes into the program is up to you and your fiancé, but the names of the bride and groom will typically be listed at the top with the date and location immediately following.

Other information you might want to include:

Name of your parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen, the officiant, musicians, ushers, flower girl and ring bearer. Choose the people who you want to recognize in your wedding program.
Wedding ceremony agenda, including the names of any songs and readings that occur.
Personal notes. This may include a favorite poem or quote, a note about special friends or family that have passed on or a special, or information about special religious rituals that are part of your ceremony.
Housekeeping. It's helpful to have a note that requests guests turn off their cell phones.
Share the ceremony outline and program with your bridal party and family. It will help everyone be better prepared for your big day!

Clean&Simple
